The design of the Lime Doser system was first developed in Sweden to combat acid precipitation. The “Swedish Tipping Buckets” operate by using the water power and require no electric or other external power supply.

The State of Maryland has employed our products and technology successfully for many years in the North Branch of the Potomac River. Pennsylvania installed their first Swedish Tipping Bucket Lime Dosers in Dents Run, Benezette Township, Elk County. 

The Lime Dosers feed pulverized limestone to the mine water discharge allowing for the neutralization of the highly acidic mine water. Within only a few days of operation, our product can significantly decrease pollution that is degrading watersheds.

Our current model, the EZ-9a has the following features;

1. •The EZ-9A only needs 1.5 feet of head water to operate. Mine Portals are an easy installation.
   

2. •The EZ-9A is powered totally by the flow (inertia) of the water it is treating.  No electricity is required.
   

3. •The EZ-9A delivers multiple types of reagents.
   

4. •The EZ-9A avoids caking and/or bridging of reagent by self-vibrating during delivery cycle.
   

5. •The water feed and reagent rate are adjusted easily by hand.
   

6. •With a water feed of 25 gallons per minute (gpm) the Lime Doser can deliver more than 1.25 Tons of reagent in 24 hours. That is 108 lbs of reagent per hour at 5 tips per minute.
   

7. •The EZ-9A has three (3) moving parts.
   

8. •The EZ-9A is Proudly Made in the USA in Clarksburg West, Virginia. We always employ contractors local to our treatment site when possible for necessary site development.
   

9. •Spare Parts are in stock and available for same day delivery in most cases.
   

10. •Each Reagent Silo is built to the individual requirements of each site.
    

11. •The EZ-9A unit can be fitted to work in most existing silos.
    

12. •The EZ-9A operates with either a riser pipe feed, a weir system, or pumped water.
